Meet Your Guide

Before we begin, I’d like you to know a little about the woman who will be walking beside you.

I’m Missi Thompson.

I’m a wife.

A mother of three incredible sons.

A MiMi to a precious little granddaughter who reminds me every day that wonder is one of God’s greatest gifts.

I’m also someone who has walked through seasons of joy, uncertainty, disappointment, growth, responsibility, and hope—just like you.

Long before I became a Master Practitioner, author, speaker, trainer, or educator, I was simply a woman searching for answers.

Like many people, I grew up navigating circumstances that were never mine to choose. Those experiences quietly shaped the way I viewed myself, my relationships, and the world around me.

As I grew older, I made a decision.

I wanted my life to look different.

I didn’t have a manual showing me exactly what to do.

In many ways, the only manual I had was a collection of experiences that quietly taught me what I wanted to do differently.

Over time, those experiences became invitations.

Invitations to ask better questions.

To seek greater understanding.

To discover why people think, feel, communicate, and respond the way they do.

What began as a deeply personal search gradually became a lifelong pursuit.

As I experienced greater peace, clarity, healthier relationships, and a deeper understanding of how beautifully God designed the mind, body, and spirit to work together, I realized I couldn’t keep what I was learning to myself.

Everything I teach today is something I first allowed to transform me.

Every certification I pursued began with the same question:

“What else can I learn that will help me better understand people and serve them well?”

The letters after my name were never the destination.

They simply mark the path of a lifelong student whose greatest desire has always been to continue learning, growing, and serving.

Eventually, something beautiful happened.

The transformation I was experiencing in my own life began creating space for transformation in the lives of others.

Watching someone breathe a little deeper.

Seeing hope return to someone’s eyes.

Witnessing relationships begin to heal.

Listening as someone discovered they were stronger than they ever imagined.

Those moments confirmed what had been growing quietly in my heart all along.

This wasn’t simply knowledge.

It was a calling.

That calling became Phoenix Shift.

And eventually, it became The Pathway.
